Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Home Health and Hospice Scheduler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with WellSky/Kinnser software. This role involves scheduling patient visits, coordinating with healthcare professionals, and ensuring the efficient operation of our home health and hospice services.
Key Responsibilities:
Scheduling:
- Schedule and coordinate patient visits for home health and hospice care.
- Ensure optimal allocation of resources and staff availability.
- Manage and adjust schedules to accommodate changes in patient needs and staff availability.
Coordination:
- Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals, including nurses, therapists, and physicians.
- Ensure timely and accurate communication of schedule changes to staff and patients.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure patient care plans are followed.
Software Management:
- Utilize WellSky/Kinnser software for scheduling and documentation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records within the system.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to scheduling software.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a scheduler in a home health or hospice setting.
- Proficiency with WellSky/Kinnser software is required.
- Knowledge of medical billing and coding is a plus.
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
