A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Hospital Pharmacy Technician based in Morristown, NJ. The Pharmacy Technician would be working for a major company and has career growth potential. This would be full time / 40+ hours per week.

Pharmacy Technician Compensation

• The pay for this position is between $22 and $25 per hour
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Pharmacy Technician Highlights

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• The required availability for this position is 7 days on 7 days off overnight 8pm to 7am.

Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities

·        Fills orders accurately and promptly for the pharmacist to check and dispense.

·        Prepares extemporaneous preparations accurately.

·        Routinely stocks all areas.

·        Replenishes all carts, trays, boxes, and kits accurately.

·        Legibly signs all paperwork associated with these processes.

·        Notes problems on patient profiles for the pharmacist to follow up on when necessary.

·        Performs cart/bin exchanges transferring bulk medications when necessary, returning unused/discontinued IVs/medications, checking dating on multiple dose medications, and replacing medications/supplies when needed

Pharmacy Technician Requirements

• Pharmacy Technician with Active State License (NJ)
• PTCB national certification
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
• 2-3+ years of experience within a hospital setting
• Sterile compounding experience and IV Mixing experience

Pharmacy Technician Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Pharmacy Technician within a hospital setting
