Job Summary
As part of our professional team, this role is integral to the company's success. The ideal fit for this position would be an energetic, outgoing, people oriented candidate with good verbal communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment maintaining a high level of operations regarding all hotel facilities, with a guest focus. The primary purpose of the Maintenance position is to directly monitor, clean and maintain the all aspects of the hotel including public areas, back of house areas and guest rooms, in line with the hotel and brand's standards.
Guest Service
Always maintain a kind and courteous demeanor. Provides a pleasant experience to all of our guests and responds to guest inquiries in a timely fashion. Handles all guest complaints according to company policies and procedures.
Teamwork and Communication
Works effectively with others (individuals and departments) in a positive, supportive and cooperative manner. Helps other team members in their duties and assists new associates in learning their new job skills. Communicates any issues of concerns and ensures all internal matters are presented to the GM in a timely manner.
Stock Control
Receives and stocks supply rooms and maintenance shop in accordance with company policy. Must be able to lift up-to 50 pounds following proper lifting procedures. Ensures workspace is clean and presentable at all times. Ensures all damaged and/or out of date stock is removed, accurately recorded and placed in designated quarantine area. Follows proper procedures for repairing and replacing equipment as needed and places stock orders as needed with GM approval.
Security & Loss Prevention
Maintains full control of workspace and its contents at all times using prevention techniques as per company to minimize loss. Follows company policies and procedures for securing the premises upon end of day closure.
Cleanliness
Maintains a high standard of cleanliness and organization. Cleans in accordance with the Liberty's/brand specific sanitary standards. Cleans and services guest rooms and service public areas as assigned.
Occupational Health & Safety
Performs all duties in a safe and responsible manner to assure workers, guests, suppliers/contractors and the environment are not at risk. Complies with all company safety policies, procedures and instructions. Uses materials handling procedures and equipment provided to minimize contamination or injury. Reports to management any unsafe practice or condition and follows all Liberty/Singh Realty, LLC safety initiatives.

Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Physically capable of standing for long hours.
- Ability to read, write and speak English language.
- A high school diploma with technical or vocational schooling is preferred.
- Hotel experience is also preferred but not required.
- General knowledge of technical fields, such as carpentry, painting, and electrical, is expected.
- This position requires effective communication skills, a professional manner, the ability to work in a team and make independent decisions
- Must be will to cover shifts when needed.
- Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must pass background check.
