I. PURPOSE OF YOUR JOB POSITION
The primary purpose of your job position is the day-to-day activities of the environronmental cleaning of the facility and ensure compliance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing our facility. Assure that our facility is maintained in a safe and comfortable manner.
A. JOB FUNCTIONS
Day-to-day cleaning functions.
- Report any repairs needed.
- Assure that work schedules are followed.
- Assure resident safety.
- Present a positive image of the facility to all customers,families, and the communty
- Deal honestly at all times with all residents and facility personnel.
B. Staff Development Functions
Assure that assigned work areas are maintained in a safe and attractive manner.
- Report all hazardous conditions or equipment to the supservisor.
- Complete all online monthly courses
C. Equipment and Supply Functions
- Assure equipment and tools are cleaned and properly stored at the end of the shift.
- Assure an adequate number of supplies are maintained in the cart to perform daily tasks.
D. Resident Rights Functions
- Maintain CONFIDENTIALITY of resident information.
- Assure that the residents' personal and property rights are maintained.
- Knock before entering a resident's room.
- Address residents by proper name.
E. Miscellaneous Functions
- Work to continuously self improve.
- Lead by example; be a mentor for all employees.
F. EDUCATIONAL
- Must have GED or a High School Diploma
E. PERSONAL, INTERPERSONAL AND COMMUNICATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language in an understandable manner.
- Must function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively and tactfully with residents, personnel, visitors, general public and outside agencies.
