Hello! Thank you for your interest in joining the Wellspring team as a part-time Housekeeper. As a statewide nonprofit serving seniors, families and children in need of support, we take a whole-person approach to our organization and delivery of our services — because we believe we must find the strengths in people and build on these for lasting change to occur.

As a Housekeeper with the Covenant Skilled Nursing and Rehab at Wellspring, you'll be part of a team of nurses, caregivers and senior support staff committed to helping seniors and their families within Saginaw. In this position, you'll be directly supporting your community to provide services to seniors. In this position, a High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred. Prior housekeeping experience is helpful, but not essential.

As a Housekeeper, you will:

• Follow cleaning schedule by standard precautions, hazardous waste handling and cleaning agent use policies and procedures
• Maintain efficient time management when cleaning all assigned areas within the Wellspring senior living campus community
• Clean and maintain general common areas, dining, office and employee areas according to schedule
• Assist with laundry responsibilities as needed
• Observe and report any physical and/or behavioral changes in residents to nursing staff
  
• Work tactfully, cooperatively and kindly with residents, families, visitors and the entire staff throughout the organization
