Position Summary
Responsible for daily operations of housekeeping and laundry department including staffing, supply ordering, and supervision. Ensures all housekeeping and laundry responsibilities are completed per state requirements and company policies on a daily basis
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Selects, trains, and develops an efficient staff. Supervises personnel and schedules adequate coverage
· Assists with all aspects of cleaning and maintaining the facility interior, exterior, and facility grounds
· Does audits of their staff work in common areas and in the laundry room
· Ensure resident rooms are safe, comfortable, and maintained in an attractive manner
· Maintains records, manages and budgets supplies
· Functions as a working supervisor in all areas of responsibility as the department’s budgeted hours and workload require
· Prepares requisition for all necessary supplies and equipment with an emphasis on inventory control and submits to Executive Director for approval
· Performs other related duties as required or requested
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
· Highschool diploma or equivalent
· 2+ years in a related position preferred
· Must be available to be on call 24 hours a day
· Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in English
