Your Mission: Provides supervision of the Housekeeping department. This position will be responsible for department personnel scheduling and assisting with inventory management of supplies. Oversee and maintain cleaning standards of buildings and agency compliance guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise housekeeping department in the most efficient manner possible.
- Establish and maintain safety procedures and provide safety education within the departments.
- Organize and prepare schedules with guidance from housekeeping manager
- Be aware of new methods, techniques, equipment and materials that will improve the overall operation of the departments and provide a more efficient operation at reduced costs.
- Maintain inventory and purchase control over all materials with guidance from housekeeping manager.
- Cooperate and assist with all other departments in any area of the facility.
- Oversee contract work and make sure the scope of work is completed to my specifications and satisfaction within the departments.
- To enforce state, codes and/or regulations governing the skilled nursing facility.
- Maintain staffing requirements in assigned areas which includes ongoing training, mentoring and counseling of all housekeeping team members.
- Collaborate with manager on all hiring, performance and termination of Housekeeping team members.
- Cooperate with other departments to offer the best possible services to all of the Residents.
- Ensure that the proper laundry procedures are followed, and the quality of the facilities linen is maintained in excellent condition.
- Assist in any facility emergencies including weekend on-call if necessary.
- Develop, implement and track goals for self and departmental employees on at a least a semi-annual basis.
- Use the facility work order system to maximize employee productivity and efficiency.
- Monitor time and attendance of all departmental personnel.
- Promote public relations for the campus by serving Residents needs and wants promptly, pleasantly and efficiently.
- Assist family members, if necessary, with the movement of Residents personal belongings.
- Ensure all articles of personal clothing, for Residents, are marked properly, if the facility provides the service to them.

Your Qualifications:
- General knowledge and understanding of good housekeeping practices within a skilled nursing facility.
- General knowledge of laundry requirements within a skilled nursing facility.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
- Possess current or has the ability to obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card is required.
