Job Summary
The Tuxedo Club is searching for a self-motivated House Person/Event Set Up person to join our team!
This individual has good communication skills and attention to detail and can complete tasks quickly. This position works in conjunction with Housekeeping, Locker Room Attendants, and with the Rooms & Laundry team. It is important that this individual sees themselves as a "people person" and is prepared to facilitate communication between departments, including Front of House and Back of House.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliveries, inventory, and storage
- Ensure ancillary storage facilities are functional
- Inventory, maintenance, and cleanliness of tables, chairs, glassware, silver, flatware, banquet equipment
- Par stock levels
- Audio & Visual equipment
- Off-site parties
- Set up & breakdown of club areas based on floor plans
- Transport personnel & material between the two clubhouses
- Fueling of Club vehicle fleet
- Report any issues with the Club vehicle fleet
- Set up & breakdown of all on-course needs
- Event set up, requirements, and breakdown
- Tend to fireplaces
- Stock
- Clean
- Refresh
- Assist housekeeping staff with the following as needed:
Cleaning clubhouse offices (collects trash, vacuum, and dust)
Cleaning clubhouse dormitory areas
- Bathrooms
- Staff break room and lounge areas
- Perform all other related duties assigned by the Management team

Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required
- Basic knowledge of cleaning
- Positive attitude & excellent communication skills with attention to detail
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to work varied shifts which include weekdays, evenings, weekends & holidays
- Team player that is energetic and professional

Working Conditions
As a House Person/Event Set Up Person, you may be a full time or part time hourly position. It is expected that, at times, you may have to work on evenings, weekends, and/or holidays. - May need to work in wet or humid conditions, near moving parts, near fumes or airborne particles, in extreme non-weather heat, & in extreme non-weather cold
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, lift, use hands & fingers, reach with hands & arms, talk and/or hear
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, and depth perception
- Employees must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs multiple times per day, and push a cart weighing up to 100lbs
- Expect to be on their feet for up to 6 hours at a time
- Must practice proper body mechanics & use appropriate personal protective equipment to avoid injury
