We're seeking an experienced Engineer in Human Factors to join the Electrophysiology Systems division, specializing in cardiac device usability.
Requirements:
- Education: Master's in Human Factors Engineering, Cognitive Psychology, or Biomedical Engineering with human factors focus.
- Experience: 5+ years in human factors or usability engineering (preferably 10+), especially in hardware-software product development.
- Skills: Strong user-centered design, customer interaction, and collaboration skills; experience in medical device development is highly valued.
- Apply human factors principles (e.g., perceptual, cognitive, and motor skills) to design and evaluate cardiac electrophysiology products.
- Lead usability engineering activities: task analysis, risk analysis, usability testing from early prototype to final design.
- Collaborate across departments, supporting regulatory strategies and compliance, especially with human factors standards (e.g., IEC 62366, FDA guidance).
- Represent the company in regulatory meetings, professional events, and standards committees.
