Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain confidentiality of all employee and resident related information
- Manage facility personnel files and ensure timely completion of evaluations and paperwork
- Assist in recruitment efforts to attract top talent
- Conduct background checks in compliance with federal and state regulations
- Verify professional licenses and certifications for employees
- Coordinate onboarding process for new hires
- Oversee Worker's Compensation and other in-house insurance programs
- Respond to employee inquiries and resolve problems
- Maintain regulatory required logs and records (e.g., FMLA, OSHA, EEOC, CHRO)
- Stay updated on employment laws and regulations (EEO, OSHA, patient rights, fraud/abuse laws)
- Track disciplinary process, including tardiness and call outs
- Provide guidance to management staff on employee relations matters
- Ensure all required posters and documents are displayed throughout the facility
Minimum Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of human resources experience preferred
- Strong leadership and motivational skills
- Prior experience with Paychex preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with a high level of energy and enthusiasm
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Good communication skills with self-discipline and patience
