As the Human Resource Generalist, you’ll be the heart of our team, driving the daily operations that keep our company thriving. Responsibilities:
- HR Administration: maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Onboarding: Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including setting up new hire orientation, welcome boxes, and ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
- Employee Administrative Support: Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries related to people operations policies, benefits, and procedures, providing prompt and accurate information.
- Benefits Administration: Assist with benefits enrollment, changes, and inquiries, and ensure that all benefits-related documents are properly maintained.
- Compliance: Help ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Assist in maintaining and updating employee handbooks and policies.
- Data Management: Generate people operations reports and assist with data analysis to support the People Operations team in making informed decisions.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve people operations processes and contribute to the development of new initiatives that enhance the employee experience.
- Other Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned to support the People Operations team.
Results:
- Employee records are consistently accurate, up-to-date, and compliant, leading to efficient HR operations and reduced errors.
- New hires experience a seamless and positive onboarding process, resulting in a 90% satisfaction rate in new employee surveys and quicker integration into the company culture.
- Employee inquiries are resolved within 8 hours, improving overall employee satisfaction and reducing recurring issues by 30%
- Benefits enrollment and changes are processed without delays, achieving a 98% accuracy rate in benefits administration and ensuring all employees are properly informed of their benefits options.
- The company remains compliant with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Successful execution of employee engagement activities increases participation rates, contributing to a measurable boost in overall employee morale and retention.
- Accurate reports and data analysis enable the People Operations team to make informed decisions.
- Implementation of new people operations processes leads to an increase in efficiency and a reduction in administrative workload, allowing the team to focus on strategic initiatives.
- Flexibility in handling various tasks ensuring that the People Operations team consistently meets its objectives, contributing to the overall success of people operations initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field. Graduate degrees are a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HR serving as either an HR coordinator or HR generalist.
- Experience in teaching, coaching, or mentorship: proven ability to guide and support individuals and teams.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment, adapting to changing priorities and demands.
- Technologically proficient in various tech stacks. Experience with TeamTailor, Paychex, Asana, and Deel is a plus.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges.

Salary:
- $65,000-$75,000
