Essential Functions:
- Must maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Provide general administrative support to Human Resources and other departments as needed.
- Transmit information or documents to employees.
- Plan, setup, and make accommodations for on-site visitors.
- File, retrieve, and maintain records, documents, and reports.
- Attend meetings to record minutes.
- Makes travel arrangements for traveling employees and candidates'
- Maintain and apply knowledge of current Human Resources and Safety policies, regulations, and industrial processes.
- Arrange for ongoing technical training and personal development classes for staff members.
- Confer with management and conduct surveys to identify training needs based on projected production processes, changes, and other factors.
- Monitor and record training activities and program effectiveness.
- Assist in training sessions for emergency preparedness, confined spaces, electrical safety, machine guarding, fall protection, and forklift safety.
- Maintain contingency plans; including fire prevention, severe weather awareness, and emergency procedures, and
- Maintain database of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) so they are accessible at all times according to regulations.
- Collaborate with engineers and physicians to institute control and remedial measures for hazardous and potentially hazardous conditions or equipment.
- Assist in new-employee onboarding and orientation.
- Interview contractors and employees to obtain information about work environments and workplace incidents.
- Assist with other departments as needed.
