Schedule: Monday-Friday, typical U.S. working hours (e.g. 8:00-5:00), hybrid, prefer candidates in local Minneapolis/St. Paul area

Cargill is seeking a Compensation Analyst to play a key role in building the compensation foundation for front-line production employees in the U.S. and around the world. The compensation analyst will use market data to build reports, dashboards and tools that help managers make decisions about front-line employee pay.
This person will be a member of a close-knit team of contractors who support each other across the different workstreams of the initiative. This compensation analyst should expect to be involved with additional workstreams such as job classification and job catalog, designing and implementing base pay structures, and global expansion of the program.
In addition to compensation analysis, this person must be able to plan and organize their work independently. The analyst will also partner closely with key stakeholders across total rewards, human resources and business operations and will drive the use of globally consistent tools and resources.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Analyze front-line employee pay using multiple sources of market data and internal employee and organizational data
• Create reporting, dashboards and tools that help managers make decisions about front-line employee pay – starting in the United States and then scaling globally as the new job classification system is implemented around the world
• Partner with Total Rewards and People Analytics teams to structure and maintain the data within the dashboards, tools and reports for scalable and sustainable data maintenance
• Contribute to the overall initiative team as a thought partner and back-up resource for our job classification and base pay structure development workstreams
• Build project plans for the compensation insights workstream, including stakeholder management planning and execution
• Other duties as assigned, to support the broader initiative team and other workstreams
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Proficient in a high level of compensation analysis, Business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI) and Excel skills
• Minimum of five years of related work experience in analytics, compensation and/or total rewards
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Inquisitive and takes an active interest in data accuracy
• Excellent analytical and process skills
• Ability to manage, analyze and manipulate data
• Basic business acumen and the ability to partner and communicate effectively with business counterparts
