Job Summary:
The Human Resources Assistant provides administrative support to the Sr Vice President of Human Resources and general HR Department office support. This includes front line servicing of employees, vendors, and visitors for Crypto.com Arena, Peacock Theater and the L.A. Live campus.
Essential Duties:
- Provide administrative support to the SVP, HR and assist with other HR/business needs as required.
- Greet, screen, and direct visitors. Answer, assist and direct phone calls. Receive and deliver messages to the correct individuals. Answer and explain HR-related questions.
- Manage conference room; schedule, maintain and cancel meetings.
- Date stamp, sort and distribute physical mail. Maintain confidentiality with sensitive material and route it accordingly.
- Assist office employees with ordering, moving, storing, and distributing supplies within the kitchen area and other public use areas of the office.
- Assist HR team members with filing confidential documents and/or creating new employee files.
- Assist with verifying and validating employee data in the Human Resources Information System.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum education level of: High School Diploma or its equivalency (Bachelor of Arts/Sciences preferred)
- 1-2 years of related work experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and ability to learn other business computer systems
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain professional disposition at all times, especially when interacting with high level executives
- Highly organized and able to quickly access records and information
- Ability to work on multiple and competing priorities, and meet tight deadlines
- Inquisitive with a desire for continued learning
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality when working with sensitive employee and business data
- Lift up to 20 pounds unassisted
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, holidays as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual - Spanish and English
- Experience in human resources
Pay Scale: $23.00 - $24.00
