Join our Human Resources department as an HR ASSISTANT and you'll get a chance to work hard to onboard employees/independent contractors in a variety of roles, from direct care workers to administrative supervisors.
SCHEDULE: This is a full-time position. Anticipated work schedule is Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.COMPENSATION: Starting pay range is $21-$25 per hour based on experience and skills. We offer 2% pay increases every January and July so you can make even more than the starting range over time.
LOCATION: This is a Hybrid position. (The role is 90% remote and 10% in-person. There will be monthly in-person staff meetings, occasional in-person department meetings and training will likely be hybrid).
JOB OVERVIEW: NEW HIRE ONBOARDING, EMPLOYEE STATUS CHANGES, and HR ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT
The Human Resources Assistant supports employment processes, procedures and general administration by entering, maintaining and organizing employee data across multiple systems, ensuring accurate entry and compliance with company policies. This role supports the HR team by managing onboarding documentation, overseeing new employee file creation, and maintaining HR-related databases and digital records. WHO YOU ARE
- You're a Data Entry Guru: In this role, you'll enter all new employee data into the correct onboarding systems accurately and promptly (HRIS, EMR, etc.) You'll also update appropriate employee tracker systems such as Forms and lists utilized in cooperation with the Operations team.
- You're a Team Player: You'll assist with other HR related tasks and administrative projects, as needed. You'll collaborate across departments to ensure smooth onboarding and compliance processes.
- You're a Documentation Master: You'll review incoming new hire documents, ensuring all required disclosures are included. You'll complete all necessary paperwork to communicate staff status changes to all appropriate parties. You'll create and maintain digital employee files, ensuring proper documentation storage (document download, proper document naming, etc.) both within the HRIS and in virtual Microsoft SharePoint locations.
- You're a Get All Done Specialist: You're comfortable taking on new challenges, asking questions and following directions on how to complete important tasks required to get new hires through the onboarding process while maintaining accuracy and timeliness.
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least TWO years of experience in roles that required strong attention to detail, meeting deadlines and working with large amounts of data/data entry; (professional administrative experience preferred)
- G.E.D. or HS Diploma required; college degree or professional business-related certification a PLUS
- Familiarity with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Experience in a role that required a high degree of confidentiality
- Must have reliable transportation AND be able to provide proof of insurance and registration
- Must be able to obtain an AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card, provide proof of education, and meet all other hiring requirements
