Human Resource Assistant duties
- File and organize personnel documents
- Support new hire orientation
- Collect documents for I9
- Assign employee ID numbers
- Copy handouts for policies, call off procedure, etc.
- Distribute locks for lockers
- Create badges for new employees
- Proctor pre-employment testing
- Schedule new hire round tables
- Coordinate/communicate announcements and events
- Taking notes during meetings
- Create monthly displays for plant initiatives
- Coordinate and assist in the production interview process
Human Resource Assistant Requirements
- 1+ years of HR experience or experience in a similar role
- Microsoft Office experience required, specifically Excel
- Highly organized with ability to multi-task
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem solving skills
- Confidentiality
- SAP experience is a plus
