About the Job
Shore United Bank is seeking a full-time Human Resources Assistant to join our team. The Human Resources Assistant will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of Shore United Bank's HR department.
Essential Functions Include:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resources files and documentation in HRIS system
- Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
- Run reports from HRIS as requested for audits and various departments
- Answers frequently asked questions from employees relative to standard policies, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.
- Coordinate trainings/meetings, corresponding hotel stays for new and existing employees.
- Complete expense reports and process invoices for applicable trainings.
- Years of Service process to include running reports, request, assign and log Lands' End certificates and gift cards, coordinate with payroll to issue out cash awards, and send out service awards packages to managers along with informing them of guidelines and what to expect for each anniversary,
- Issue out employee recognition gifts for Birthdays and HR initiated programs to include maintaining employee recognition website.
- Assists in the recruiting process as needed to include sending welcome letters to new hires, attending career events, and present presentations in new hire onboarding sessions.
- Manage process for welcome packages including working with purchasing to order new items when supply gets low, putting packages together for Navigation and sending out packages for employees who may not have received their welcome package
- Oversee NMLS process and maintenance on NMLS site to include processing new hires, transfers, terminations, annual renewals and communicating updates to various departments including IT, Marketing, Mortgage and Compliance.
- Update HR communication channels including Microsoft Teams Condolence channel, Celebration channel and Shore Connect
- Assist in the Stop, Start, Keep Process including sending out invites, tracking meetings and analyzing compiled data
- Promotes employee engagement through HR department activities and events
- Performs other administrative duties to support the overall function of the HR Department as needed including working with other departments as needed.
- Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and the Company's compliance with all regulatory requirements, e.g., Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act, etc.
- Participates in required training sessions, including training for compliance with BSA/AML policies and procedures.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
- Full-time.
- Non-exempt.
- Days of Work: Monday-Friday.
Required Education and Experience:
- High school diploma/GED equivalent.
- Minimum one year experience in Human Resources.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
Compensation:
- The pay range for this position is $20.75 - $33.15 hourly.
- Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted hiring range based on factors such as relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, licensure requirements and/or skill level, and will be finalized at the time of offer.
