This position will partner with the senior director of HRBP and our R&D leaders to drive the success of our R&D business and ensure a high-performing workforce. This role provides HR guidance, aligns HR initiatives with business objectives, and fosters a positive work environment.

- Execute core people processes in an efficient, equitable, and empowering way for all involved.
- Support managers and employees in identifying, diagnosing, and addressing performance challenges.
- Encourage a performance-driven culture recognizing and rewarding exceptional contributions to our patient-centric mission.
- Employee relations:
- Act as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, offering support and guidance on HR-related matters and creating a safe space for employees to come for support and guidance.
- Foster an inclusive, equitable, and diverse work environment.
- Mediate and resolve employee relations issues; conduct thorough and objective investigations when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
- Team effectiveness:
- Seek to understand team dynamics, find creative and thoughtful ways to enhance team performance, and ensure inclusive and empowering team environments.
- Design and facilitate workshops and focus groups to enhance team effectiveness, ensuring sessions are actionable and solutions are sustainable.
- Operate as a trusted sounding board and coach for team leaders and members.
- Talent development and engagement:
- Build strong partnerships across the HR organization and with key partners, specifically with Total Rewards, HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Legal, and HRBP peers to inform and implement company-wide programs and initiatives while ensuring client's needs are understood and met.
- Implement employee engagement programs (including surveys) that strengthen team members' collaboration, motivation, and a sense of purpose.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience. Experience in the biopharmaceutical or healthcare industry is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Demonstrated experience in talent management, employee relations, performance management, and organizational development.
- High integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism with the ability to remain calm and optimistic in challenging situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong and reliable execution and follow-through coupled with an ability to think strategically, operate in ambiguity, and remain flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
