Human Resources Internship (Remote)

About the Role:
As a Human Resources Intern at DiscoverU Health, you'll play a vital role in supporting the growth and retention of our talented clinical and administrative team. You'll advocate for the best interests of our organization and team members while providing exceptional customer service to all.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing the recruitment process, from sourcing to onboarding, for various healthcare and administrative roles.
- Develop and implement strategies to attract top talent from both active and passive candidate pools.
- Foster community partnerships to build talent pipelines.
- Create standard operating procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Utilize applicant tracking systems and other recruiting software.
- Organize recruitment events at colleges, universities, and industry conferences.
- Support client and care coordination as needed.
- Demonstrate strong time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Attend weekly meetings with the CEO to provide updates on HR initiatives and receive guidance.
Qualifications:
- HR experience is required, preferably in a remote setting.
- Currently enrolled in or have completed a master’s program in Human Resources preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Human Resources.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Strong time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, CRM, and EHR systems.
Additional Requirements:
- Remote role for six months.
- Commitment of 20 hours per week.
- Eligible for college credit.
