What You'll Do:
As the Human Resources Manager for MTU Maintenance Dallas, you will have the exciting and unique opportunity to leverage your extensive experience to build a Human Resources team from the ground up. This position is twofold; you will work as a hands-on manager, responsible for the day-to-day operations of the department. You will also work closely with the executive team on strategic planning and will serve as the critical link to between the leadership and the employees. Essential duties include:
- Developing and monitoring overall HR systems, tactics and procedures across the organization, including compensation and employee retention
- Identifying and implementing HR initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Managing the talent acquisition process, including identifying the success profiles for positions, identifying the appropriate recruitment tools, managing the hiring process, and developing an on-boarding process
- Overseeing a performance review process that drives high performance and aligns with the company goals
- Nurturing a positive work environment in accordance with the company’s values
- Managing compensation plans and benefits program, and acting as employee go-to person for questions and concerns
- Bridging management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, and other issues
- Ensuring legal and regulatory compliance with all local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations
About You:
- You have a college degree and at least 5 years of proven experience in a HR leadership position. Human resources professional certification is highly preferred (SHRM, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP).
- Your experience in developing recruitment processes and compensation plans have enabled you to attract and retain highly qualified and talented employees
- You have built and effectively managed interpersonal relationships at all levels of an organization
- Being the strong leader you are, you possess excellent active listening, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- You have an in-depth knowledge of employment laws, regulatory requirements and HR best practices
