Bachoco USA is seeking an HR Supervisor (Bilingual -English/Spanish) desired for its Albertville, AL Processing Facility.
Summary: This Supervisor will be responsible for the coordination, oversight, and implementation of all activities involving personnel practices, policies, and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the implementation of Company policies and procedures.
- Assists employees with any problem, complaint, or conflict that may arise.
- Assists management with employee counseling, corrective actions, performance appraisals, and terminations.
- Interview employees during incident investigations.
- Makes certain all personnel policies are constantly being checked, updated and communicated to management within the Company.
- Documentation and record keeping of personnel files.
- Communicates benefit options and assists employees in completion of benefits forms.
- Performs data entry such as status changes, address changes, absenteeism and tax changes.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of one year of human resources experience in a production environment. Food production experience preferred.
- High standards of excellence required to maintain human resources and payroll-related records in an accurate and compliant manner.
- Experience conducting internal investigations.
- Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft applications.
- Knowledge of timekeeping and HRIS functions for production facilities and ability to learn software utilized by OK Foods (Infotronics timekeeping and Success Factors HRIS)
- Ability to handle confidential information in an appropriate manner.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to effectively interact with different levels within the organization.
- High energy, highly motivated, works independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) desired.
Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree from four-year College or university desired, or one to two years related HR experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully an individual should have knowledge of E-Mail software, Success Factors, HR Utilities, timesheet software, Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
Other Qualifications: Highly organized and able to think systemically to structure the work and design in a logical flow. Other key attributes include: self-motivated, organized, computer literate, attention to detail and follow through with exceptional writing and communication skills.
