Job Description

• Perform evaluations and laboratory testing on primary container-closure components and system, critical secondary packaging, and shipping systems utilizing mechanical testing equipment and dimension measurement instruments
• Execute methods, collect data, and document results in lab notebooks and LIMS
• Participate in the development of laboratory test methods or equipment to ensure reliability and accuracy of results
• Ensure all activities follow established safety standards, regulatory requirements and Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMP)
• Lead team, schedule, and train employees in client environment
• Prepare and review job plans, conduct semiannual performance reviews, interview applicants, keep training records up to date for assigned employees, perform succession planning in preparation for growth
• Coach and develop individuals and team to maximize performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or technology, orequivalent directly-related experience (two years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one full-time year of college in a related major)
• At least 3 months of related laboratory experience
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
• Internal candidates, at a minimum, must be a level 2 employee in good standing to be considered.

Position is Monday- Friday 8:00 am- 5:00 pm. Overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Indianapolis, IN are encouraged to apply.
