IT Applications Manager - Solstice Consulting Group

Solstice Consulting Group is seeking an experienced IT Applications Manager for our industrial client located in Indianapolis, Indiana.This role is HYBRID (approx. 3 days per week in office) with up to 20% domestic travel as necessary.

·Bachelors Degree in MIS, IT or Computer Science and 10+ years related experience required

·3+ years supervisory experience in an IT Applications role required

·Base salary of $140k - $160k DOE plus bonus opportunity and excellent benefits

This role will be responsible for managing software applications for the company and overseeing and managing the development, implementation, and maintenance of custom applications. Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets related to custom application projects.

Responsibilities:

• Hands on role performing project execution, business engagement & team mentoring and management.
• Responsible for Custom Application Development & Support, ERP Systems and Software Packages and Data Development, Reporting, BI, and Analytics
• Set priorities and manage workloads to ensure timely completion of projects and initiatives.
• Conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and facilitate training opportunities for team members.
• Administer and provide technical support for ERP systems and other software packages.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ERP systems, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Coordinate with vendors for software updates, patches, and enhancements.
• Train and support end-users on ERP system functionalities and best practices.
• Monitor system performance and implement improvements to optimize efficiency.
• Engage directly with ERP system configurations and integrations as required to meet organizational needs.
• Develop and manage data models, databases, and reporting tools to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.
• Design and implement dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to provide actionable insights for decision-making.
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security across all reporting and analytics platforms.
• Collaborate with departments to identify data needs and develop solutions to address those needs.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance data analytics capabilities.
• Directly work on data integration, reporting, and analytical tasks to ensure timely and accurate deliverables.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in MIS, Information Technology or Computer Science and 10+ years of IT Applications experience

• 3+ years in a supervisory role managing a small team of application development professionals

• Experience in IT application management, including custom application development and ERP systems support.
• Strong technical skills in programming, database management, and data analysis
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders and end-users.
