Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: ability to perform impact/risk assessments; provide technical oversight and direction for technology solutions, identification, implementation, and validation; and, applying standard policies and procedures to the development and administration of cybersecurity architecture, risk management framework, and cyberspace operations. Your experience must must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving. See the following: 1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: auditing systems for security compliance. 2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: providing guidance to customers regarding security issues/vulnerabilities. 3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: recommending improvements for operating processes. 4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. Education Additional Information Employee shall obtain and maintain the proper Cyberspace Workforce (CSWF) certification for cybersecurity position, as required in DoDD 8140.01 and DoD 8570.01-M. Upon request from the Deputy Branch Head, IC4/ICC CY, the employee shall provide documentation supporting the CSWF certification status. The employee and his or her supervisor shall ensure the employee maintains certification status. Certification and required maintenance (e.g., sustainment training/continuing education) shall be at no cost to the employee. Certified CSWF personnel performing cybersecurity functions or roles, whose certifications lapse shall have their access to DoD information systems either downgraded to a level appropriate to their certification status, or will be denied access to DoD information systems. This position is eligible for part time, substantial or ad-hoc telework at the discretion of management. Recruit/relocation incentive may or may not be offered. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled.
