IT Educator/Analyst - Witham Health Services

This position reports to the Applications Manager, Information Systems. This position will serve as both the Educator of our EMR systems and Application Analyst. You will conduct classes for new and existing staff members, educate on new features, enhancements or new workflows that are made to the EHR. The individual also supports the primary acute and ambulatory EHR system, helps with implementation processes, user requests, and daily support activities. This individual participates in the development of work-flows, system configuration, application deployment and support, change documentation and support of staff on application functionality. The individual must have a good understanding of technical infrastructure when applicable, such as networking, data interfaces and server configuration.

• College degree in Education, Nursing, or IT preferred or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of EHR systems, preferably Meditech.
• This position requires communication and interaction with co-workers, other departments and vendors.
