What We're Looking For:
We're on the lookout for an experienced IT Field Technician who shares our love for technology and in-person customer service. With a positive attitude and solid technical skillset, you'll be the go-to person for onsite client support, playing a crucial role in delivering the exceptional support experience our clients have come to expect.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel by company vehicle to 1-3 client sites per day to provide hands-on technical support.
- Staging, deploying, and relocating workstations – Mac and PC.
- Installing printers, time clocks, and various peripherals.
- Configuring, installing, and relocating network equipment such as routers, switches, and access points.
- Troubleshooting Internet, Wi-Fi, and network issues.
- Microsoft 365 application troubleshooting and support.
- Light administration tasks in Active Directory, including adding and removing users.
- Assisting with IT assessments for new and existing customers.
- Maintaining timely, accurate notes and status of issues in the Autotask ticketing system and closing each work order as it is completed.
Requirements:
4+ years of experience with:
- Providing help desk and onsite IT support services
- Diagnosing and resolving network issues, including ping testing, IP configuration, and understanding network topology.
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows 10 (and up)
- Supporting Mac environments
- Microsoft Server OS - all versions
- Office 365 - multiple applications
- Active Directory administration
CompTIA Network+ certification (or willingness to obtain it)
Availability for occasional after-hours or weekend work
Proficiency in using power tools for mounting IT and network equipment.
Clean driving record
Physical Demand:
- Ability to climb an 8-foot ladder safely and confidently.
- Ability to lift 20-50 pounds.
- Comfortable working in tight spaces such as beneath desks, server rooms, and equipment racks.
