The IT Portfolio Manager will drive strategic initiatives, ensuring they align with our operational goals and ultimately be accountable for the success of the operations in their portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Portfolio Management:
- Manage a portfolio of IT projects and initiatives specific to Home Health and Hospice operations within a designated region.
- Ensure projects align with business objectives and deliver expected value.
- Monitor and report on portfolio performance, risks, and issues.
- Lead and oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects within the portfolio.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget.
- Coordinate resources and stakeholders to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met.
- Serve as the primary liaison between IT and business stakeholders in the Home Health and Hospice operations and other departments.
- Understand business needs and translate them into IT requirements and solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met and expectations managed.
- Coordinate efforts across multiple IT departments to ensure cohesive and efficient project execution.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among project teams, business units, and external vendors.
- Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Identify and drive strategic IT initiatives that enhance Home Health and Hospice operations.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions.
- Champion change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of new technologies and processes.
- Lead efforts to transition from legacy systems to new, innovative technologies.
- Ensure smooth and efficient system transitions with minimal disruption to operations.
- Provide guidance and support to teams during the transition period.
- Be accountable for the overall success of the IT operations in the portfolio.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and drive continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular reviews and assessments of portfolio performance, adjusting as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT project management and portfolio management, preferably in healthcare or a related industry.
- Strong understanding of Home Health and Hospice operations is highly desirable.
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
