Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Responsible for the daily management of global software at client. This position applies an in-depth understanding of software license models and IT Asset Management (ITAM) best practices to monitor and support corporate compliance of software standards, licenses, T&Cs compliance, and optimization for all locations globally. This position reviews software requests and applies knowledge to analyze requirements and make recommendations for best-fit licensure based on industry trends and roadmaps.

This position applies an in-depth understanding of software license models and IT Asset Management (ITAM) best practices to monitor and support corporate compliance of software standards, licenses, T&Cs compliance, and optimization for all locations globally. This position reviews software requests and applies knowledge to analyze requirements and make recommendations for best-fit licensure based on industry trends and roadmaps.
- Contributes to effective service delivery of software services in ServiceNow.
- Monitors effective license positions and ensures adherence to vendor terms and conditions of use.
- Identify and action opportunities for license reclamation and optimization.
- Leverage tools to automate the collection of software information (install & usage) to simplify current processes and provide more focused, exception reporting.
- Review software license requests prior to implementation to determine if reuse or the procurement of new licensing is required.
- Review software license reporting with business representatives and assist in the overall understanding of the licensing model and allowed usage (as required).
- Report generation and user validation related to software contract renewals.
- Gather, organize, and analyze software usage trend data to determine maintenance/support requirements and coordinate with business lines to effectively determine strategy for acquisition/renewal of maintenance support program enrollments.
- Support external software audit activities including readiness assessment, vendor coordination, data analysis, remediation, and communication as required
- Maintains software asset database to track software entitlements, allocations, and related contract details.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years' experience.
- Certifications in SAM, ITAM, ITIL, ITSM preferred.
- Microsoft Suite
- ServiceNow Asset & SAM Pro proficiencies
- Software Industry nomenclature proficiencies
- Software Asset Management best practices
- General knowledge of commercial terms and conditions

Salary
60 - 66 /hour
