About the Job
The role will drive the technical delivery and solutioning to meet sector and business partner objectives, driving specific business value streams. The individual works with business and business technology partner(s) on all strategic and tactical initiatives, leading demand across wide spectrum of Technology Services capabilities, including but not limited to application development, application maintenance, networking, infrastructure, end user services, information security & risk management (ISRM), privacy and compliance.
This position involves leading a team of solution engineers, engagement managers, and/or Release Train Engineers. The team brings together Technology Services resources to achieve business partner strategic roadmaps, key product group initiatives, and ultimately deliver shared business outcomes.
They will act as advocates within Technology Services for their business partners and will collaborate with peers to gain a complete, cross-sector view. Their goal will be to build, grow, extend, and prioritize technology solutions that most efficiently and effectively achieve these goals. In addition, this individual will collaborate with Technology Solution Leads and Engineers to continuously critically evaluate technology capabilities to realize value and will work with the Director, Technology Solutions Engagement to make decisions about further investment based on business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with and provide technical partnership to Product Group Leaders and managers for products, capabilities, and services.
- Help to establish technology roadmaps to achieve efficient & effective delivery of business & customer goals.
- Ensure Technology Solutions work product meets stated business needs and achieves desired business outcomes.
- Close alignment on sector and Technology Services Objectives & Key Results (OKRs).
- Provide support and point of escalation across all stages the product lifecycle to optimize value across the squads. Provide solution engineering expertise to assigned domain within Innovative Medicine Commercial.
- Ensure delivery and execution results meet the needs of business and achieves outcomes established.
- Act as a Technology Services advocate to partners to ensure partners are aware of updates from Technology Services organization. Coordinate with peers to cultivate awareness and information sharing across domains.
- Provide creative and innovative ideas to improve our overall operations to make the team and how we work an always evolving team!
- Bachelors Degree in IT-related coursework.
- 5 years of experience in Information Technology supporting various functions.
- Experience Managing a technical team / vendor resources, etc
- Ability to effectively communicate and engage with colleagues at all organizational levels. In addition, outstanding written, verbal, and presentation skills, with a talent for presenting sophisticated technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Experience and knowledge in creating technical and digital solutions in a highly regulated setting. Understanding of compliance regulations that can affect technology projects.
- Experience with all aspects of the product development lifecycle as well as Agile methodology.
- Empower and inspire people and make tough decisions in a timely manner while making Credo-based decisions.
- Influence to drive resolution for critical issues by bringing in teams together - both J&J internal and external vendors.
- Need to show ability and passion to learn new and emerging technologies and having the ability to apply ideas to solutions in assigned product areas.
- Extensive experience in planning and managing the finances, resources, and technical execution of large product groups (>$1M).
- Creativity in generating innovative ideas to improve our overall operations and drive improvement.
- Certifications in key processes and technologies in the value stream, such as, Scaled Agile (SAFe, Nexus, Scrum), Salesforce, Digital Marketing, SAP , Ariba, Workday, etc .
- Some experience with customer relationships and prior experience in a customer-facing role.
- 5-10% domestic travel.
