Apply Now!• Qualifications/Requirements:In this position you will serve as a senior systems administrator with responsibility for planning and coordinating the installation, testing, modifying, upgrading, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of hardware and software systems.• Must be a U.S. Citizen• Must be able to obtain & maintain a “Secret” Security clearance.• This position is designated as a Drug Test Designated Position• Knowledge of the principles, methods, and practices for integrating ACAS and HBSS applications system components sufficient to plan, coordinate, and administer computer systems and optimize system performance.• Knowledge of the latest advancements in technology relating to Network Security and Vulnerability Management necessary to initiate corrective or preventative action to ensure optimum performance of the system.• Knowledge of performance tuning tools, database management, and project management methods sufficient to optimize ACAS and HBSS applications, monitor performance, troubleshoot database performance problems, and perform a wide range of systems administration functions.• Knowledge of ACAS and HBSS applications, associated devices, and the interoperability of systems sufficient to install, upgrade, troubleshoot, test, and maintain those systems; to optimize the functionality and performance of systems; and to ensure the availability, integrity, efficiency, and reliability of servers.• Ability to apply methods and practices for troubleshooting, recovering, adjusting, modifying, and improving ACAS and HBSS applications and systems to solve complex problems, provide support that minimizes interruptions in service to customers, and maintain liaison with industry and other activities to provide awareness of state-of-the-art technology.• HIGHLY DESIRED EXPERIENCEInformation Assurance Certification: Security+• You will be evaluated for this job based on how well you meet the qualifications above.• Your application package (resume, supporting documents) will be used to determine your eligibility, and qualifications. • Click the apply button to complete an application and upload resume (PDF or Word Doc) and/or additional documents (Transcripts, certifications, Vet Docs (DD214), SF-50).• To receive additional information about current and future job openings with AFCS via email notification, please subscribe at www.Afciviliancareers.com and sign up to “Get Career Updates.” • AFCS is Equal Opportunity Employer.
