Job Title:IT Support Specialist (no C2C)
Location:Medina, OH 100% on site
Duration:6-month W2 contract to hire
Description:We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Support Specialist to join ourclient’steam.You willbe responsible for providing technical support and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systemsand other technologies in the organization. The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver with strong communication skills and a passion for technology.
Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network issues, as well as other technologies as assigned.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, andotherIT equipment.
- Manage user accounts and permissions
- Ensure data backup and recovery processes are in place and functioning correctly.
- Document and track IT support requests and solutions using a ticketing system.
- Provide training and support to employees on IT best practices and new technologies.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements to recommend improvements and upgrades.
Qualifications:
- Associate'sinInformation Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, orat least 3 years of IT supportexperience.
- Proven experience in IT support or a similar role, preferably in a smaller manufacturing environment.
- Basicknowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS) and common software applications.
- Familiarity with hardware components and peripherals.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Experiencewith SAP and or Power BI
