Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Superintendent with a strong background in industrial construction to join our dynamic team. The Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing all phases of construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a deep understanding of construction processes and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of the construction process from start to finish, including planning, scheduling, and managing subcontractors and trades.
Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards.
Maintain a safe and clean job site, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
Coordinate and communicate effectively with project managers, clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with project plans and specifications.
Manage and resolve any issues that arise during the construction process.
Prepare and submit daily reports, schedules, and other documentation as required.
Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork and collaboration among all project participants.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Superintendent in industrial construction, with a strong understanding of TI construction projects.
Extensive knowledge of construction processes, materials, and best practices.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate teams.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, construction plans, and specifications.
Familiarity with construction management software and tools.
A commitment to safety and quality, with a track record of maintaining safe and compliant job sites.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Relevant certifications and licenses, such as OSHA 30, are preferred.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within industrial construction.
Proven experience with complex TI construction projects, including office extensions, industrial building conversions, and clean room construction.
