Industrial Designer and Manufacturer at Davron LLC

We are seeking a talented Industrial Designer and Manufacturer to be a key part of our dynamic, tight-knit team near Bedford, Ohio. If you thrive in hands-on work and are looking to combine your SolidWorks CAD/CAM skills with real-world manufacturing experience, this role offers the perfect opportunity. No travel is required, and you’ll be working on unique, custom aluminum-based projects that keep every day exciting.

Qualifications and responsibilities for this Industrial Designer and Manufacturer position include:

• Experience in making molds and foundry tooling.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and familiarity with 3-axis and 4-axis CNC machines.
• Ability to transition to other CAD/CAM environments like Autodesk PowerMILL and Autodesk Fusion360.
• Strong design skills with a hands-on approach to manufacturing.
• Design and manufacture foundry patterns, molds, and fixtures using a variety of materials including aluminum, steel, plastic, and more.
• Operate CNC vertical machining centers and manual tools.
• Convert 2D drawings into 3D CAD models and manage projects from concept to final product.
• Design simple to complex molds, including understanding parting lines, shrinkage, and machining allowances.
• Perform repairs, reworks, and inspections on molds and tooling.
• Collaborate with team members in a small business environment.

Salary: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
