About the role:
The Industrial Electrician is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment. Using knowledge of local, state, and national electrical-code regulations, the Industrial Electrician ensures the equipment is functioning safely and effectively.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and repair the medium and low voltage electrical distribution systems and motor control centers
Maintain 480-volt motor control centers
Install, test, repair, maintain electrical parts of equipment and machinery
Troubleshoot equipment
Conduct inspections and ensure adherence to electrical codes
Assist maintenance personnel when needed
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Additional skills and/or experience required for success in the role:
Knowledge of conveyors, PLCs, and various automated machinery
Master Electrician license for state of Michigan
Able to understand schematics and other technical documents
Experience installing control centers, switch gears, breaker panels and lighting systems
Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics
Possess basic computer skills
Able to work in a team environment; able to work without constant supervision
Able to lift a maximum of 50 pounds
Able to complete required paperwork
Able to communicate clearly and effectively
