About the Job
Our client a leading manufacturing company in Northeastern Pennsylvania seeks and experienced Industrial Engineer that will improve and develop efficient manufacturing processes and floor layouts that integrate workers, machines, materials, information, and new technology.
Essential Functions:
• Will lead and participate in key Manufacturing Projects, including a site expansion, to improve Capacity, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Safety using a variety of Industrial Engineering methods. Will lead and assist others in identifying improvements and eliminating non-value-added activities within the processes.
• Will support process development initiatives to include process experimentation, process design, process optimization, process control, process definition and documentation to support new layouts, product development, and continuous improvement.
• Will develop standards and measurements for scheduling and manufacturing processes utilizing accepted methods. These standards will incorporate safety, efficiencies, costs and reliability.
Education/Experience:
• BS Degree in Industrial Engineering or related Discipline with a 3 - 5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Microsoft Office, AutoCAD
• Preferred Knowledge: ERP systems (routing setup, process setup, and integration), Load Balance Analysis, Time Studies, Capacity modeling, Process Flow Charting, FMEA, DOE, Process Control Plans, SPC, New Equipment ROI. Team problem solving, Capacity Planning Models, Standard Work Development, Man/Machine analysis, Job Safety Analysis, Ergonomic Analysis, Setup Reduction Strategies, Total Productive Maintenance, Project Management, Presentation Skills, Time Management, Facilitation Skills.
