Industrial Engineer
Industrial Engineers are responsible for analyzing and designing operations and workflow to optimize efficiencies throughout the plant. Responsible for designing, developing, and testing integrated systems for managing industrial production processes.
This role is identified as requiring ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) compliance; therefore, qualified candidates must meet the definition of a U.S. Person (per EAR Part 772 and ITAR 120.15):

Industrial Engineers are responsible for analyzing and designing operations and workflow to optimize efficiencies throughout the plant. Responsible for designing, developing, and testing integrated systems for managing industrial production processes.

- Design and develop robust manufacturing concepts to simplify and improve processes and ensure best practices
- Monitor operations with an eye toward improving productivity and efficiency.
- Ensure that processes are designed to ensure that products meet quality standards.
- Reduce waste and address production issues.
- Review production schedules, processes, and specifications.
- Evaluate data to implement technological improvements in production processes.
- Evaluate and apply suitable industrial engineering techniques to help solve problems of a wide-ranging nature.
- Communicate effectively with both internal and external customers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gain insights and direction
- Optimize for layout and flow
- Follow verbal and written instructions; read and accurately interpret technical specs and instructions
- Comply with established processes and procedures, and comply with AS9100 and other regulations applicable to the role
- Regular (daily) attendance on-site at the work location is required
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years experience in Industrial Engineering
- Aerospace manufacturing experience strongly preferred
- Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, work instructions, and technical specifications and other written materials including customer contracts, purchase orders, and terms and conditions
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; familiarity with Teams/SharePoint is preferred
- Experience using an ERP system; Infor Visual experience preferred
- Experience using drafting software; Catia V5 and/or Vericut experience is preferred
- Familiarity with aerospace materials and specifications and machining practices is preferred
- Understanding of processing/metal finishing requirements and specifications is preferred
- Familiarity with AS9100 requirements is preferred
