The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing production machinery, including auxiliary equipment, hydraulics, electrical systems, and pneumatics.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Investigate, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair production machinery, including auxiliary equipment, hydraulics, electrical systems, and pneumatics.
- Perform preventive maintenance inspections and complete necessary repairs identified during the inspections.
- Efficiently repair machines to minimize production downtime.
- Conduct miscellaneous repairs to the facility as needed.
- Oversee and coordinate with outside contractors for various maintenance tasks.
- Interpret and work from prints, plans, sketches, and layouts.
- Utilize precision measuring equipment for accurate repairs and adjustments.
- Operate electric and hand-operated tools, including drills, grinders, and presses.
- Provide guidance and training to junior maintenance technicians and other team members as needed.
- Be available for on-call duty to respond to emergency maintenance requests outside of regular working hours.
- 7-10 years of industrial maintenance experience required.
- Proficiency in reading and understanding schematics and drawings.
- Electrical knowledge is preferred.
- Relevant certifications, such as Certified Maintenance and Reliability Technician (CMRT) or OSHA safety certifications, are a plus.
- Ability to move or transfer products using an overhead crane and forklift.
