Preventive & Corrective Maintenance: Develop and implement a robust preventive maintenance schedule to ensure smooth operation of production machinery. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control issues, and provide timely, efficient solutions.
Repair & Replacement: Repair or replace malfunctioning components (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, control systems) to ensure proper equipment functionality.
Problem Solving: Utilize strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues quickly, minimizing equipment downtime and enhancing process efficiency.
Routine Inspection: Conduct daily inspections to maintain machinery functionality, ensuring uninterrupted production and minimizing delays.
Proactive Maintenance: Take a proactive approach to maintenance, addressing potential issues before they escalate into significant problems.
Disassemble & Rebuild Equipment: Disassemble, evaluate, repair, and rebuild machinery as necessary, including ordering and using new parts as required.
Facilities Support: Assist in facilities planning and help manage the parts inventory.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with production and operations teams to review schedules and optimize production processes.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a mechanic, with in-depth knowledge of production machinery, particularly in food manufacturing environments.
Mechanical & Electrical Expertise: Skilled in mechanical, electrical, and control systems, with proven expertise in the maintenance and repair of production machinery.
GMPs & OSHA Knowledge: Strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and OSHA regulations, ensuring compliance and optimal machine performance.
PLC Operations: Demonstrated experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot control systems.
Teamwork & Communication: Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with facilities, production, and operations teams.
