Position: Industrial Associate/Warehouse Associate (EXP)

Location: Bloomfield CT

Duration:6 +months with possibility of extension or conversion into permanent employment

Pay Rate: $20-24/hr

Education:

Must have a High School diploma or equivalent

Available Shift timings (You must opt one)

• 1st shift- 8:00AM to 4:30PM

Job Description

• Following all EH&S and safety policies and procedures
• Material handling of a variety of components, packaging materials
• Maintaining inventory, such as the storage of electronic parts
• Actively to participate in daily housekeeping
• Performing other duties as assigned

Physical Demand:

• If an item weighs more than 50 lbs., employee must ask for assistance in lifting and/or use the appropriate crane, forklift or other lifting devises
• Walking, balancing, climbing, standing, twisting/turning, bending/stooping, crawling, crouching, kneeling/squatting, sitting, reaching above shoulder height, reaching forward, lifting (maximum 50 pounds), carrying, pushing/pulling, handling, feeling, digital dexterity, wrist flexion/extension, power grip, working speed, talking, hearing, seeing (with color vision) depth perception
• Must be able to wear/use the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.

• Ability to work in a warehouse, cross-department and team environment.
• Candidate must be able to adhere to assigned work schedule, including start time.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Knowledge and understanding of warehouse and material handling functions preferred.
• Interpersonal communication skills with team members and ability to communicate using email is a must.
