Job Title: Industrial Painter I
What You'll Do:
- Paint parts and units and/or guide the loading of products on to the paint conveyor.
- Ensure proper part flow, sequence and quality to meet assembly line and customer requirements.
- Hang parts and kits on paint line in sequence according to direction from planning and scheduling department.
- Operate lift and burn-off oven.
- Set-up, operate, and maintain automatic powder booths and shut down paint line equipment.
- Checks completed parts to ensure compliance to Worcester Plant Quality standards and makes necessary adjustments when required to meet quality goals.
In this function, you will:
- Maintain equipment and perform housekeeping duties as necessary.
- Adhere to all environmental, health, safety rules and regulations, and work instructions.
- Assist the team in achieving plant and department goals.
- Assist with on-the-job training and continuous improvement.
- Foster an environment that promotes Eaton's goals and philosophies, encouraging continuous improvement through participation and teamwork.
- Have a general knowledge of the Eaton Quality Management System (EQMS).
- Perform other duties as required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
- Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Only candidates in the immediate geographic area (50-mile radius) will be considered.
- 3+ months experience in light to medium industrial manufacturing environment.
- Must be able to pass the Pulmonary Function Test to perform the functions of the job.
- 1+ years' experience in light to medium industrial manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of basic shop math.
Preferred Skills
- Requires frequent standing and bending. Must be able to regularly lift up-to 35-pounds and occasionally lift 35-50-pounds.
- Ability to read written instructions and comprehend verbal instructions.
- Ability to use good judgment and problem-solving skills to make informed decisions
