Any IT related background is helpful; we work with e-discovery -, what this means is field that supports the legal function with attorneys and para legals internally we manage digital evidence. IT can be anything a user can create email/one data/documents, etc, if they are put on a legal hold. Looking for someone who can help to manage the data that is being collected. It is over a tetabyte of data at this time some is local, some in the cloud, different data depositories. We are looking to manage this data more efficiently, better processes, etc. We have forensic tools we use. We can train them on these tools, do not need experience with this coming it. Someone who can pick up tasks quickly and retain the instructions given to them, being able to see something a couple of times and then be able to run with it.
Experience with software, MSOffice, any forensic software would be a plus or any programming background is also good to have, to assist in automating the processes we have.
Interpersonal Communication skills are also needed for this role. This position doesn t necessarily interact with legal on a daily basis, but occasionally will need to reach out with questions/updates. Must be able to speak comfortably with various levels of individuals within the organization.

- Execution and verification of data transfer and consolidation tasks as assigned.
- Responsible for communication of project status and escalation of issues to manger.
- Reconcile project demands with available resources and escalate any deviation from project timeline.
- Record all support activities for proper measurement of work performed.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate degree in computer science or 2-3 plus years of related experience, sufficient, but not required. Relevant experience can override educational requirements . Previous large corporate experience would be a plus.* Forensic, IT experience would be a plus....
- Minimum of two years of experience in a corporate IT or computer support-related field.

- What are the top 3-5 skills requirements should this person have? Superior attention to detail, excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and a sound technical background.
- What is a nice to have (but not required) regarding skills, requirements, experience, education, or certification? Microsoft O365 support. Computer imaging, PC repair, Project management.
- What type of work is this individual involved in: Support Legal Department, day to day, they report to The team lead who will manage giving projects to them. Outside of the immediate group of eight of us, there is not a ton of contact. Relatively small group and we manage our own projects. Some communication as indicated with Directors/VP s, etc.
- Any specific tools targeting for this role? We have a sequel data base used to manage inventory, looking to improve what we have. Any database skills would be helpful for this role. SQL experience or knowledge would be great but not limited to just this, we collect various databases as part of what we do.
- What ediscovery tool are we currently using? NUIX is the main tool we use right now to process data discovery and hardware collection as well. From a forensic standpoint we use Celbrate, F2K imager for forensic hard drive collections, Curve Vue from MS on the backend to do all the data sources with MS Cloud arena.
- What is minimum years experience - ? 2 3 years corporate, IT related experience
- More focused on data or automation side they are equally important. If they had that skills set would be great, but not as common as those who have data and data management. We have both type of folks on our team. Being able to automate the management of the data. Will work mostly on the data side, but the person we are looking to replace has a lot of forensic knowledge, experience. We have a lot of hard drives, old computers, etc.
- Data scientists type folks also work well in these roles.
