Infrastructure Technician from Innova Solutions

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring an Infrastructure Technician.

Position type: Full-time - Contract

Duration: 6+ months

Location: Jacksonville, FL & Orlando, FL

As an Infrastructure Technician, you will:

· Perform 75% cabling work (95% copper; 5% fiber) and 25% network tasks (Layer 1/Physical Layer).

· Install, test, terminate, and troubleshoot low voltage cabling (CAT 5/6, fiber).

· Rack and stack network devices.

· Conduct break/fix, moves, adds, and changes (MACs).

· Perform cable patching.

· Familiarity with 66 Block and 110 Block cross-connect procedures.

· Install Cisco devices (Layer 1/Physical Layer).

· Basic knowledge of Cisco switches and routers.

Requirements:

· 2+ years of relevant experience in a Field Technician role.

· Valid Driver's License and ability to safely drive a company vehicle.

· Comfortable with a travel radius of up to 5 hours and open to more travel as needed.

· Preferred certifications: BICSI.

Note: We are seeking dedicated Technicians to join the team. The ideal candidates will be comfortable with dispatch work and understand that the job does not guarantee a standard 40-hour work week, though it usually equates to 40+ hours over the course of a year. Support hours are Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with potential after-hours, weekend, and on-call rotation.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range*: $23/hr. - $27/hr.

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
