Description:Position SummarySupports the overall business plan and strategic direction of the infusion pharmacy by performing daily activities as directed and collaborating with providers and pharmacists to provide exceptional patient care while achieving organizational goals, maintaining compliance, and meeting KPIs.How We Take Care of our Infusion Pharmacy TechniciansCompetitive, market-based compensation and benefits that include:Health, dental, vision insurance + ancillary choices as wellTeladoc services (provided at no cost)$50,000 Life insurance (provided at no cost)Employee Assistance Program (provided at no cost)401K retirement + company matchShort- & long-term disability15 days paid vacation8 Paid Holidays40 paid volunteer hoursBereavement time offQuarterly company eventsInfusion Pharmacy Technician Essential FunctionsModels and holds others accountable to the Barnes culture and acts as a coach and mentor for others in the organization.Assists the pharmacist with the preparation and dispensing of medications and supplies in accordance with policies, procedures, and applicable laws/regulations.Administers recurring or daily functions or processes necessary for patient care and identifies opportunities for improvement or efficiencies.Ensures all pharmacy surfaces, laminar flow hoods and clean room are cleaned per company policy.Maintains records on prescriptions and inventory, picks and packs medical supplies to fill patient orders and prepares labels.Resolves problems related to prescription inquiries.May process insurance claims and provide detailed prescription receipts.Operates in compliance with all governing bodies (GABOP, DEA, ADAP, etc.).Other related duties as assigned. Infusion Pharmacy Technician Minimum qualifications and skillsHigh school diploma or equivalent required.State licensing required.PTCB National Certification strongly preferred.
