Inside Parts Sales Representative - Interstate Companies, Inc

Interstate Companies is looking for experienced Inside Parts Sales Representatives to join our Central Parts Sales Team at our Corporate Headquarters in Eagan Minnesota.

The ideal candidate should have a proactive mindset and want to establish great rapport with the customers to earn additional business and accounts. We are not looking for reactive inside salespeople we want salespeople that are hungry to succeed.

As a member of the Central Parts Sales Team, you will field overflow Parts Department inquiries from across our entire region, having multi-tasking ability is paramount as you will be working with multiple customers at once. Experience in both Inside Sales and working most forms of Parts Counters would be highly beneficial but not required.

This position involves taking orders from customers, making outbound calls, and processing paperwork. As part of the Centralized Parts Sales Team, you will utilize selling and negotiation skills to market our product lines to current and potentially new clients. The Centralized Parts Sales Representative will be responsible for handling customer inquiries promptly and effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

• Field inbound phone inquiries regarding our product lines and product manual sales.
• Make outbound sales calls to known and prospective customers.
• Presents upsell opportunities to clients by recommending additional related items or current appropriate promotional items.
• Inform customers of alternate products due to availability
• Respond swiftly and courteously to all inquiries and complaints.
• Tracking weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance and sales metrics
• Maintaining a database (CRM) of client information
• Follow and enhance suggested script for this role.
• Build lasting relationships with customers through friendly, engaging communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required with post-secondary education preferred.
• Industry experience preferred.
• 2+ years inside sales experience preferred.
• Demonstrated customer service skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong computer skills to include MS suite of products, CRM and keyboarding skills.
• Proven track record of successful sales experience preferred.
• Persuasive and goal oriented
• Positive attitude required in a busy sale environment.
