About the Job
The Inside Sales Account Manager will be aligned with a field sales team and report to a regional sales manager. The Account Manager is responsible for maintaining and establishing relationships with both new and existing customers to support existing business and promote sales growth.
The Account Manager will work with Marketing and the field sales team developing, maintaining, and closing prospective customers. Interaction with prospects and accounts in varying industrial segments across a broad geographic territory is crucial to developing new business.
Analyze Customer Needs- Facilitates the sales process by using questions to obtain information about the customer's business situation/goals, understand the customer's decision-making process, identify areas of customer concern or disagreement, and identify and capitalize on opportunities for business and customer success.
Manage Sales Process- As part of the Inside Sales Team to meet customer needs. Effectively communicates, networks, and leverages internal resources to enhance customer satisfaction.

- Developing an understanding of all BradyPLUS products.
- Building comprehension of various resin markets and related feedstock conditions and can articulate them professionally to customers.
- Perform inventory task for customer on scheduled basis.
- Understanding and implementation of best practices as defined by the Sales Manager.
- Use internal data to engage customers, manage opportunities and log all activity. Review progress regularly with Sales Manager.
- A minimum of 20 phone calls on new prospects are required to be logged each day.
- Bi-weekly review of their activities and needs with Manager.
- Conducts a monthly evaluation of performance, activities and needs with Manager.
- Developing understanding of potential growth areas within their territory and share findings with Manager.
- Work with local management and sales team to evaluate potential customers.
- Manage account base to ensure timely inventory turns.
- Communicate and document issues to accomplish their goals.
- Present thorough opportunities to the Sales Team that include price, product parameters, competitive landscape, incumbent supplier, grade numbers, application, packaging and volume.
- Report all outcomes of negotiations (won or lost) to sales and business Managers.
- Consistently display the behaviors of the BradyPLUS Principles.

Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma required, some college
- 1-2 years' experience in customer service environment, warehouse/distribution environment helpful.
