Inspector Installer - BMW Of North America

The Inspector/Installer position is primarily responsible for performing inspections of vehicles and installing accessories in accordance to the standards and operating procedures as assigned. They will also be responsible for performing product audits, basic vehicle repairs in accordance with Company standards, Quality Checks, and Battery voltage Checks/Maintenance.

This position requires lifting and carrying up to 50 lb., driving, pulling, kneeling, reaching, standing, twisting, walking, climbing, pushing, squatting, hearing and exposure to variations in temperature and high noise.

The starting pay for this role is: $29.71 (per collective bargaining agreement).

Supplemental earning potential includes shift differential, overtime, and monthly eligible bonuses. This statement is in accordance with state and local pay disclosure requirements.

• High School / GED required.
• 1+ years Quality inspection, basic automotive installation and repair experience
• Working knowledge of the VMS Service Order System

Preferences:

• Technical Training Certificate
• Technical Certification from an Accredited Institution
• Prior experience working in a production/service facility environment.
