Job Description
The Photo Etch Inspector position verifies the quality of parts by visual inspection and dimensional verification to documented criteria, removes parts from the sheet, and packages parts for shipment. This role involves inspecting parts using a microscope, measuring material thickness with drop gauges and handheld micrometers, and forming metal parts with handheld tools. The position is available for both first and second shifts and requires regular attendance.
Responsibilities
+ Inspect parts using a microscope at a bench to determine conformance with company and customer inspection criteria.
+ Use drop gauges and handheld micrometers to measure material thickness.
+ Use handheld tools to form metal parts.
+ Remove parts from a sheet using scissors, clippers, or hand-powered cut-off tools depending on the part.
+ Package parts for shipment.
