Full Job Description
As an Installer at Zone4, you will play a vital role in the execution of storage and material handling solutions. Working alongside the MHS Foreman and team, you will ensure that projects are completed on time and within scope. Your responsibilities will include installing pallet racking, mezzanines, shelving, and conveyor systems. A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and attention to detail are essential for success in this role. - Operate material handling equipment including forklifts, scissor lifts, and floor cleaners.
- Utilize tools, equipment, and supplies to effectively support project execution.
- Follow and promote all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
- Communicate regularly with the MHS Foreman and coworkers to ensure smooth project flow.
- Maintain clean and organized work and storage areas.
- Continuously work towards task and skill improvement to enhance performance.
- Safeguard company information and uphold workplace confidentiality.
- Demonstrate professionalism and produce high-quality work consistently.
- Attend daily stand-up meetings to review tasks and timelines.
- Strive to meet project deadlines and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Attend required internal and external business meetings as needed.
- Perform side responsibilities and duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Prior experience in installation or construction is a plus. Mechanical aptitude is needed.
- Ability to operate forklifts and scissor lifts (certifications preferred but not required).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Positive attitude with a focus on task completion and high-quality results.
- Commitment to safety practices and maintaining a clean work environment.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is preferred.
- Willingness to travel as needed for projects.
