Scope of Work

The Instructional Designer develops learning experiences and materials that lead to transfer and
application of new skills and knowledge. The Instructional Designer will be responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, presenting, and assessing learning opportunities and programming for all Gaylor employees. 

• Design and revamp both new and established learning materials
• Identify the appropriate learning approach
• Maintain industry standards and research innovations in learning design and education
• Implement feedback from program reviews and course evaluations
• Evaluate new learning materials
• Train others on how to deliver learning material
• Assist with maintenance of the learning management system
• Train all employees on how to use the learning management system
• Become a subject matter expert on various operating software, as needed, in order to facilitate
training to all employees
• Create educational pod-casts, videos, presentations, and e-learning content Reliable Resources, Reliable Outcomes, Reliable Insights, and Genuine Care for People
• Prepare and present learning materials to target audience(s), in person and virtually

• Must be computer literate and able to process documents in Microsoft Suite in addition to
quickly learning Gaylor’s operating software

Education - Bachelors’ degree or equivalent professional experience

Experience - Previous experience with training and/or education
