Instrument Room Technician, SPD, Full Time - 2PM-11PM at PIH Health

Works independently, performing all tasks related to the reprocessing and sterilization of surgical instruments.  These tasks include maintenance, decontamination, prepping, sterilization and proper handling and storage.

Required Experience

Required:

• High school graduate or GED
• Knowledge of surgical instruments and their use
• Knowledge of supplies and equipment used during sterile processing
• LA City fire card within 6 months of employment (PIH Good Samaritan Only)

Preferred:

• IAHCSMM (International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materiel Management) certification preferred
• Previous experience in sterile processing preferred
